AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: March 2, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Request Board of County Commissioners approval for the
Chair to sign a Professional Service agreement with HDR.
BACKGROUND: The Solid Waste Department has received a grant from the
Department of Ecology Recycling Development Center to do a feasibility study on
secondary recycling markets with an eye towards a regional comprehensive action plan.
The Solid Waste Department contacted three consultants and it was determined that HDR
would be the best fit and would be able to meet the short time frame for this study.
INTERACTION: Solid Waste Department, Department of Ecology, Prosecutors

RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the Chair.
HANDLING: Return two signed copies to the Solid Waste Department.
