KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2021 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: March 2, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve an Ordinance to Amend Sections of <br />Kittitas County Code Title 10 Pursuant to City of <br />Ellensburg Annexation Ordinance 4847 <br />BACKGROUND: The City of Ellensburg annexed Currier Creek Estates and <br />additional Urban Growth Area lands managed by the <br />County in Ordinance 4847 (2020). This action now <br />requires amending "Speed Limits on County Roads" and <br />"Stop and Yield Roads" in Title 10 of County Code. This <br />action is being conducted administratively without public <br />hearing as supported by the Prosecuting Attorney's Office. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works and Information Technology. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Board's signature on the Ordinance <br />amending Title 10 of County Code acknowledging the City <br />of Ellensburg annexation contained in City Ordinance <br />4847. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works and notice IT of code <br />change. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Ordinance; Redline and clean copy of Title 10 revisions. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
