KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />March 2, 2021 <br />Request to Approve a Resolution to Award the <br />Bid to furnish Asphalt Materials for Calendar <br />Year 2021. <br />BACKGROUND: Annually, Kittitas County Public Works goes <br />out to bid for the furnishing of Asphalt Materials <br />in accordance with Standard Specifications of <br />the Washington State Department of <br />Transportation. Call for bids are advertised in <br />the legal newspaper in order to provide equal <br />opportunity. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Bids were opened on February 18, 2021, at <br />2:00 p.m. in the Public Works Department. <br />One bid was received. <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve the Resolution to Award the <br />Bid to furnish Asphalt Materials for Calendar <br />Year 2021 to Granite Construction Company. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Bid Tab <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Public Works Director <br />
