02/16/2021 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. FEBRUARY 16, 2021 Board members present via WebEx: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice- Chairman Laura Osiadacz; and Commissioner Cory Wright. Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy Buchholz, Administrative Supervisor; Mark Cook, Public Works Director; Kelly Bacon, Planner 1; Rachael Stevie, Planner 1; Jeremy Johnston, Planning Official and 1 member of the public. This meeting was provided to the public via WebEx and they were previously notified on the Agenda as to where they could access and provide public comments. PUBLIC HEARING SUNCADIA WINEMAKER’S CABINS CDS At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider the Suncadia Winemaker’s Cabins Preliminary Plat (LP-20-00002. KELLY BACON, PLANNER I provided a Staff Report. She said Jeff Hansell, authorized agent for Swiftwater Cellars Properties, LLC, landowner, submitted an application for a 24 attached residential lot plat with Open Space, recreation facility, access and parking tracts and the existing Swiftwater Cellars winery/restaurant on approximately 11.94 acres of land that is zoned Master Planned Resort. The proposed lots range in size from 2,448 to 4,869 square feet. In conjunction with the application, a site development plan had been submitted. She recommended approval of the application and had prepared a Resolution for the Boards consideration. JEFF HANSELL, authorized agent said he was available for questions from the Board and thanked Staff for their work. THERE BEING NO PUBLIC IN ATTENDANCE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. RESOLUTION 2021-025 SUNCADIA WINEMAKER’S CABINS CDS VICE-CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2021-025, Preliminary Plat Approval of Suncadia Winemaker’s Cabins (LP-20- 00002). COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
