AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: February 16, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of
an Interlocal Agreement Between the City of Ellensburg, Washington and the County of
Kittitas, Washington for the Housing of Inmates.
BACKGROUND: This Interlocal Agreement is between the City of Ellensburg and
Kittitas County for the Housing of inmates from January 1, 2021 -December 31, 2021.
The daily rate is to be $66.50/day with the exception of inmate workers, whose rate is
to be $53.00/day and billed according to the terms of The Agreement.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office has reviewed and approved
this Interlocal Agreement.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of an
Interlocal Agreement Between the City of Ellensburg, Washington and the County of
Kittitas, Washington for the Housing of Inmates.
HANDLING: Please return one fully executed original to KCSO, which we will
provide to the City for its records.
