COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 10:00 A.M. JANUARY 25, 2021
Board members present via Webex: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz and
Commissioner Cory Wright. Excused: Chairman Brett Wachsmith.
Others via Webex: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Clay
Myers, Sheriff; Greg Zempel, Prosecutor; Stephanie Hartung, DPA III;
and Neil Calkins, Chief Civil Deputy; Tristen Lamb, Public Health
Administrator.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 10:01 a.m. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would
recess into Executive Session for 30 minutes to discuss with legal
counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency
enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing
the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency,
the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is,
or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the
discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial
consequence to the agency. No action anticipated.
At 10:31 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There
was no action taken.
At 10:31 a.m. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would
recess back into Executive Session for 5 minutes to discuss with
legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency
enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing
the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency,
the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is,
or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the
discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial
consequence to the agency. No action anticipated.
At 10:36 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. Staff
was directed to prepare a letter for the Board to sign to Governor
Inslee regarding the County’s efforts on vaccine distribution.
Meeting adjourned 10:36 a.m.
