AGENDA DATE: January 19, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of an
Interlocal Agreement between the Town of South Cle Elum, Washington and the County
of Kittitas, Washington for the Housing of Inmates.
BACKGROUND: This Interlocal Agreement is between the Town of South Cle Elum
and Kittitas County for the Housing of Inmates from January 1, 2021 -December 31,
2022. For 2021 the rate is $6,000 and $6,600 for 2022 paid quarterly and does not include
medical costs.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office has reviewed and approved
this Interlocal Agreement.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of an
Interlocal Agreement between the Town of South Cle Elum, Washington and the County
of Kittitas, Washington for the housing of inmates.
HANDLING: Please return one fully executed original to KCSO, which we will
provide to the Town for their records.
