KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: January 19, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement between the Town of South Cle Elum, Washington and the County <br />of Kittitas, Washington for the Housing of Inmates. <br />BACKGROUND: This Interlocal Agreement is between the Town of South Cle Elum <br />and Kittitas County for the Housing of Inmates from January 1, 2021 -December 31, <br />2022. For 2021 the rate is $6,000 and $6,600 for 2022 paid quarterly and does not include <br />medical costs. <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office has reviewed and approved <br />this Interlocal Agreement. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement between the Town of South Cle Elum, Washington and the County <br />of Kittitas, Washington for the housing of inmates. <br />HANDLING: Please return one fully executed original to KCSO, which we will <br />provide to the Town for their records. <br />LEAD STAFF: Superintendent Steve Panattoni <br />
