RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AUTHORIZED SIGNATORNIES FOR PURPOSES OF
WASHINGTON HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION AND
GRANT
RESOLUTION No. 2021 - OO7
WHEREAS: The Washington Military Department, Emergency Management Division is the
authorized entity for the processing ofstate and federal assistance funds pursuant
to Section 404 of P.L. 93-288 as described on the attached document; and
WHEREAS: Among the requirements of the program in question is the designation of the
authorized signatory and alternate; and
WHEREAS: compliance with the requirements of the program has the potential to provide
substantial assistance to Kittitas County's vital infrastructure projects;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the attached Form will be completed
in such a manner as to designate Patti Johnson as the "Applicant Agent" and the Chair of
the Board of County Commissioners by title as the Alternate, and that the Form and
Resolution will thereafter be provided forthwith to the Washington Military Department,
Emergency Management Division.

ls hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of Kittitas County
a local government entity, state agency, special purpose district, federally recognized tribe or private
nonprofit organization established under the laws of the state of Washington, this application, grant
agreement, and payment requests to be filed with the Military Department, Emergency Management
Division, for the purpose of obtaining and administering certain state and federal financial assistance
under Section 4O4 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Act of 1988, P,L. 93-288, as
amended.
,ro, Board of County Commissioners hereby authorizes its agent to provide to the
Washington Military Department, Emergency Management Division assurances and agreements
required for all matters concerning such state disaster mitigation.
