BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. ________ <br /> <br />ADOPTION OF THE KITTITAS COUNTY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR <br />THE PLANNING PERIOD 2021-2026 <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County opted into the Growth Management Act, RCW 36.70A, voluntarily on <br />December 27, 1990, through Resolution 90-138; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County adopted the Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan in August of 1996 and the <br />Capital Facilities Plan was adopted as part of the Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County amended the Comprehensive Plan in 2001 to adopt the six year Capital <br />Improvement Program through a process separate from the annual comprehensive plan <br />amendment process and any changes made are adopted by reference to t he Kittitas County <br />Comprehensive Plan at adoption; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Commissioners conducted a public hearing on December 29, 2020 to <br />consider the six year Capital Improvement Program for the planning period 2021-2026; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Commissioners considered public testimony at said public hearing and <br />approved the Capital Improvement Program for the planning period 2021-2026. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED That the Board of County Commissioners after due deliberation and <br />in the best interest of the public, does hereby approve the six year Capital Improvement Program for the <br />planning period 2021-2026 as attached hereto. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 5th day of January , 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> Commissioner <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />☐ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br /> <br /> <br /> Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecuting Attorney <br /> signing for Gregory L.
