RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AUTHORIZED SIGNATORIES FOR PURPOSES OF
WASHINGTON HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION AND
GRANT
RESOLUTION No. 2021 - _______
WHEREAS: The Washington Military Department, Emergency Management Division is the
authorized entity for the processing of state and federal assistance funds pursuant
to Section 404 of P.L. 93-288 as described on the attached document; and
WHEREAS: Among the requirements of the program in question is the designation of the
authorized signatory and alternate; and
WHEREAS: compliance with the requirements of the program has the potential to provide
substantial assistance to Kittitas County’s vital infrastructure projects;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the attached Form will be completed
in such a manner as to designate Patti Johnson as the “Applicant Agent” and the Chair of
the Board of County Commissioners by title as the Alternate, and that the Form and
Resolution will thereafter be provided forthwith to the Washington Military Department,
Emergency Management Division.
