AGENDA DATE: January 5, 2021
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to publish notice for requests for qualifications
from providers interested and capable of delivering
Medically Assisted Treatment services within the County
Jail.
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking proposals
from providers that can fulfill the needs of the Jail and
providing Medically Assisted Treatment services to
incarcerated individuals. The County recently was awarded
a grant for $600,000 for this program to be implemented.
INTERACTION: The Request for Proposals was previously approved by the
Prosecutors office.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize the request to publish public notice
for a request of qualifications from providers interested and
capable of delivering Medically Assisted Treatment
services within the County Jail.
HANDLING: BoCC staff to Publish. Copy to Sheriff’s Office
ATTACHMENTS: Request for Proposals for Medically Assisted Treatment
Providers at the Kittitas County Jail.
