2020-12-22 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY 9:00 A.M. DECEMBER 22, 2020 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith and Vice-Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz. Excused: Commissioner Cory Wright. (via Webex) <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Amy Cziske, Treasurer; <br />Lisa Murray, Administrative Supervisor; and Judy Pless, Budget & <br />Finance Manager. <br /> SPECIAL MEETING FUTURE SOFTWARE PURCHASE TREASURER <br />Amy Cziske, Treasurer requested Board approval to set aside any <br />unused funding to put into a special fund to purchase software in <br />the future. She said they have been looking at other Counties to see <br />what they are using. Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager said the <br />Board could either authorize a flat amount or include any leftover <br />funds. She said there is a balance of approximately $240,000.00 left <br />over from the Treasurer’s office salaries and benefits line and when <br />the books close for 2020, she will transfer those funds into the <br />2021 budget, and place it into a reserve fund balance. <br /> <br />The Board expressed support to allow transferring leftover funds <br />from the Treasurer’s office and to place it into a fund for the <br />future purchase of software. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:07 a.m. KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> Julie Kjorsvik Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />
