Meeting called to order at 11:00 AM.
Webex for Public Meetings Update
Mr. Goeben told the board there were artificial constraint on the Webex internet access in the route our
vendor provides that we identified and resolved, and performance has improved greatly. The Upper
District Court went live using Webex last week and the Judge and court staff are pleased. The Sheriff is
using Webex in their EOC and is very happy with it, and the jail has requested a Webex Roomkit.
Community Public Wi-Fi Update
Commissioner Osiadacz worked with the Easton Fire Chief to provide public internet access at the
Easton Fire Station. A temporary access point was added in advance of the 12/15 public meeting. IT is
investigating a permanent solution.
Other Business
Mr. Goeben updated the board:
Nate Hill has been hired as Application Developer to replace Jeremy Klarich.
The search to fill the Service Desk Technician position is ongoing and we hope to have a
candidate selected by 12/31.
Commissioner Osiadacz asked IT to provide Webex training for the BoCC boards and committees
clerks and members. The training is scheduled for 1/6.
The City of Ellensburg cyber breach has led IT to block email from ci.ellensburg.wa.us until the
breach is contained and mitigated.
