2020-12-15 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY 8:30 A.M. DECEMBER 15, 2020 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright. (via Webex) <br /> <br />Others: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; Julie Kjorsvik, <br />Clerk of the Board; Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Interim <br />Maintenance Director/Project Manager; and Amy Cziske, Treasurer <br /> SPECIAL MEETING COURTHOUSE ADVISORY COMMITTEE COMMISSIONERS <br />Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Interim Maintenance Director/ <br />Project Manager asked the Board for some formal direction on the <br />Courthouse Advisory Committee. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright shared a document he put together as a rough <br />draft of committee outcomes and expectations. The idea was that the <br />Committee would look at options regarding a new Courthouse, then <br />make a recommendation to the Board. Commissioner Wright asked the <br />Board of they would be willing to hire a consultant to help with the <br />planning. <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz agreed with Commissioner Wright’s outline, but <br />stated she wished to see the committee work on community outreach as <br />well. <br /> <br />Amy Cziske, Treasurer asked to make sure her office was included in <br />the planning. She said her Office will staff/clerk this Committee. <br /> <br />The Board gave direction to Director Johnson to work with legal to <br />amend Resolution 2020-051 and to develop an RFP for a consultant for <br />this project. The Board will continue to work on recruitment for the <br />7-member committee, and it will be brought before the Board again on <br />a Monday Admin.
