BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />No.2020-j{!ts <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING A CONTRACT WITH THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE <br />RELATED TO AID TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, CHAMBER CAR,ES GRANTS <br />AND KITTITAS COUNTY STRONG ROUND 2 GRANTS <br />WHEREAS, the County and the Chamber entered into a contract related to the corona virus- <br />related financial aid to affected businesses on July 21,2020; and <br />WHEREAS, CARES Act funding has become available to assist non-profit organizations, <br />Chamber Cares Grants and a Kittitas County Strong Round 2 Grunt program affected by <br />the restrictions from the Governor's proclamation ofNovember 15,2020 as well; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the contract to allow for the provision of financialaid <br />to non-profit organizations as well; and <br />WHEREAS, at a duly called and noticed public meeting, the Board of County Commissioners <br />determined that amending the contract was in the public's best interest. <br />WIIEREAS, the allocation per grant was modified, to allow full use of all programs <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the amendment to the contract with the <br />Chamber of Commerce related to aid to nonprofit organizations affected by the <br />pandemic is approved and the board Chairman is authorized to execute said <br />amendment. <br />DATED this _15th_ day of _December_,2020, at Ellensburg, Washington <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />Clerk of the <br />t- <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board
