BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESoLUTToN No. zozo -rA;Al <br />RESCINDING $61,000 IN SURFACE TRANSPORTATION BLOCK GRANT FUNDING <br />TO KITTITAS COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS PURSUANT TO <br />RESOLUTION 2020-050 LEAVING $443,000 IN AWARD TO PUBLIC WORKS <br />WHEREAS: Resolution2020-050 awarded $504,000 in Surface Transportation Block Grant <br />(STBG) funds to Public Works; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works saved $61,000 in2020 Bullfrog Road project construction costs; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works desires adding the $61,000 to the 2021 STBG rural grantprogram; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby rescind $61,000 in Surface Transportation Block Grant <br />funds awarded in Resolution2020-050 and retains the balance as awarded to Public Works. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the $61,000 be made available to rural STBG grant <br />applicants during the 2021 grant cycle. <br />DATED this 15th day of December 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COLINTY,WASHINGTON <br />Brett <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Vice-Chairman <br />Wright, Commissioner
