A RESOLUTION CREATING THE AIRPORT DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS: Kittitas County has long owned and operated the Bowers Field airport and
industrial area.
WHEREAS: The county has recently hired a Director of Airport Operations and an Airport
Coordinator; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that there shall be, heretofore, an Airport
Department as part of Kittitas County government. It shall be supervised by the
Board of County Commissioners and shall, at least initially, consist of a Director
of Airport Operations and an Airport Coordinator.
