AGENDA DATE: December 15, 2020
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve County Program Agreement — i -ACT Program
Development
BACKGROUND: The Department of Children, Youth and Families Juvenile Justice and
Rehabilitation Administration administers juvenile offender programs
funded by the State for Washington State Juvenile Court interventions
resultant from youth being found guilty of offenses. This County
Program Agreement sets the parameters for the program development
that our office is participating in. It provides reimbursement to our
County for the development and consultation services to counties
across the State for implementation and quality assurance.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed and approved as to form the
contract. Additionally, Information Services and the Auditor's Office
reviewed.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the County Program Agreement i -ACT Program
Development for the period of July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021
between Juvenile Court Services and Department of Children, Youth
and Families
HANDLING: Request signed original documents be returned to JCA to pursue
DCYF signature and subsequent return of an original fully executed
document to the BOCC for County records. 1 have provided three
originals.
