KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 15th, 2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Resolution Acknowledging Levy Certificates from County Municipalities, Cemetery Districts, Fire Districts and Schools. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: RCW 84.52.020 requires taxing districts to conduct a Public Hearing, Pass a Resolution and submit a Certification notice to the County Legislative Authority outlining the <br />Levy amount for the Taxing District. <br /> <br /> The following Municipalities, Cemetery Districts, Fire Districts and Schools have met, passed a resolution and submitted a Levy Certificate to the Kittitas County Commissioners with <br />a copy to the Assessor’ s office: Cemetery District #1, City of Cle Elum, City of Roslyn, City of Ellensburg, Town of South Cle Elum, City of Kittitas, Fire Dist. #1, Fire Dist. #2, <br />Fire Dist. #3, Fire Dist. #6 , Fire Dist. #7 , Fire Dist.#8, Snoqualmie Pass Fire Rescue, Hospital Dist. #1, Hospital Dist.#2, Hospital Dist.#2 EMS, Damman School, Easton School, Thorp <br />School, Ellensburg School, Kittitas School, Cle Elum Roslyn School. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Assessor’ s office received copy of Levy Certificates provided by Taxing District <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve and Sign Resolution Acknowledging Levy Certifications/ (Resolutions/ Ordinances) <br /> <br />HANDLING: Copy of Resolution to Assessor’ s office <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Levy Certifications, Amendments, Resolutions/Ordinances <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I <br /> Commissioner’s Office <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
