Introductions were completed.
Minutes
Motion to approve the September 17, 2020 Board of Health meeting minutes
Motion 10-01: Motion to approve the September 17, 2020, Board of Health meeting minutes. Cory
Wright moved to approve the September 17, 2020 Board of Health meeting minutes. Laura Osiadacz
second. All approved. Motion 10-01 carried to approve the September 17, 2020 Board of Health
meeting minutes.
Motion to approve the October 1, 2020 Board of Health Continuation meeting minutes
Motion 10-02: Motion to approve the October 1, 2020 Board of Health Continuation meeting minutes.
Cory Wright moved to approve the October 1, 2020 Board of Health Continuation meeting minutes.
Laura Osiadacz second. All approved. Motion 10-02 carried to approve the September 17, 2020 Board
of Health meeting minutes.
Business
2021 Fee Introduction
Tristen Lamb gave a brief overview of the proposed fee schedule for 2021, noting the new Kittitas
County Public Health policy template, changes to vital record fees, and changes to community health
services. Ms. Lamb also touched on the transition of the Water Resources program from Public Health
over to Public Works.
Jesse Cox, Environmental Health Supervisor reviewed the environmental health fees in more depth.
Other
Staffing Updates
Tim Roth will be retiring at the end of October. Kate Johnson has been hired as the new Public Health
Nurse. A fifth case and contact tracer has also been hired. Joseph Rainwater -Cummings has been hired
as the new Health Promotion Specialist.

Lianne Bradshaw will be taking maternity leave soon, and KCPHD will be working to get contractual
assistance with COVID-19 data while she is out.
COVID-19 Response Update
Lianne Bradshaw updated the board on the COVID-19 data report that is updated weekly. It recaps data
on the state and local risk assessment dashboard, as well other data collected by KCPHD.
There were questions from the board regarding how local data ties into the state data system. There
were also questions regarding data updates on the state's COVID website.
Dr. Mark Larson provided an update to the board about COVID-19 in the county, K-12 schools, and
Central Washington University.
There were also questions regarding testing costs and billing for COVID-19 tests.
