11/23/2020 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX REGULAR MEETING MONDAY 9:00 A.M. NOVEMBER 23, 2020 Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Cory Wright, Commissioner. (via WebEx) Others Via WebEx: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; Mark Cook, Public Works Director; Arden Thomas, WRP Manager; Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager; Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Interim Maintenance Director/Project Manager. REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Office Administration meeting. He noted items would be take out of order to assist Public Works in getting to a separate meeting on-time. CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendars. PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS The Board of County Commissioners approved the County Vouchers and PAF’s. CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS The Correspondence Log for the week ending November 20, 2020 was presented. LETTER THOMPSON PARK PUBLIC WORKS Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve and authorize the Chair’s signature on a letter of support for the Ellensburg Downtown Rotary Club’s efforts in obtaining acquisition and installation of park improvements for Thompson Park. Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0. EXECUTIVE SESSION PUBLIC WORKS At 9:03 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess into Executive Session for ten minutes, with Mark Cook, Public Works Director & Arden Thomas, WRP Manager to consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase when
