BOARD OF COI.INTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESoLUTION No. 2020 -s|Lbr <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON CONTRACT CHANGE NO.24 <br />WITH ASPECT CONSULTING, LLC <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners entered a professional <br />services contract with Aspect Consulting ,LLC (Aspect) in 2013, assisting with <br />water mitigation efforts in Kittitas County; and <br />WHEREAS: One element of the contract evaluates consumptive water use associated with <br />rural residential activities and this study is supported by the Washington State <br />Department of Ecology (WSDOE); and <br />WHEREAS: Additional consumptive use study contract effort is being requested by WSDOE <br />resulting in additional compensation requested by Aspect not to exceed $12,000; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Chair's signature on Contract Change No. <br />24 with Aspect Consulting, LLC for an amount not to exceed $12,000. <br />DATED this 1$ day of December 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COLINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY,TON <br />Julie Kjorsvik <br />-Chairman\\ <br />of the Board- Mandy Buchholzllllilr <br />ABSENT <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner
