KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 1, 2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval for Chairs Signature on Change Order No. 1 <br />with Rivers Edge Environmental. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County went out to bid for the removal of county owned units <br />at Shady Brook Mobile home park and Rivers Edge Environmental <br />was the lowest responsive bidder. During the permitting process it <br />was brought to our attend by the City Gas Department the gas for the <br />Laundry also provided gas to another unit. It was determined that it <br />would be in the best interest of the county to delete the Laundry room <br />from the Demolition contract. <br /> <br /> In addition, the county has had the opportunity to purchase another <br />unit at Shady Brook so we are requesting to add it to the contract at <br />this time.
