AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: December 1, 2020
ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval for Chairs Signature on Change Order No. 1
with Rivers Edge Environmental.
BACKGROUND: Kittitas County went out to bid for the removal of county owned units
at Shady Brook Mobile home park and Rivers Edge Environmental
was the lowest responsive bidder. During the permitting process it
was brought to our attend by the City Gas Department the gas for the
Laundry also provided gas to another unit. It was determined that it
would be in the best interest of the county to delete the Laundry room
from the Demolition contract.
In addition, the county has had the opportunity to purchase another
unit at Shady Brook so we are requesting to add it to the contract at
this time. The addition of this unit will require adding an additional
15 days to the contract to allow for the required rodent abatement.
