KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: December 1, 2020 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Authorize the Chair’s <br />Signature on the Quit Claim Deed to Washington State <br />Department of Transportation for a portion of Sparks Road <br />BACKGROUND: The Board amended its 1973 agreement with WSDOT <br />allowing for the conveyance of a portion of Sparks Road <br />with Resolution 2020-126. The Quit Claim Deed is <br />prepared and is now ready for Chair signature. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Chair’s Signature on the Quit Claim Deed to <br />Washington State Department of Transportation for a <br />portion of Sparks Road. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Quit Claim Deed. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
