COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 11:00 A.M. NOVEMBER 16, 2020
Board members present via Webex: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-
Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others via Webex: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II;
Stephanie Hartung, Deputy Prosecutor; Clay Myers, Sheriff; Darren
Higashiyama, Chief Deputy; Tristen Lamb, Public Health
Administrator; Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Interim
Maintenance Director/Project Manager; Lisa Young, HR Director; Dr.
Mark Larson, Public Health Official; Greg Zempel, Prosecutor.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 11:02 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced that the Board would be
changing course of what was initially published for today’s Special
Meeting and announced the Board would instead recess into Executive
Session for 30 minutes to discuss with legal counsel representing
the agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to
discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or
potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a
member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a
party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to
result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency.
No action anticipated.
At 11:32 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There
was no action taken.
At 11:32 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess
back into Executive Session for 30 minutes to discuss with legal
counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency
enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing
the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency,
the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is,
or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the
discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial
consequence to the agency. No action anticipated.
At 12:02 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There
was no action taken.
The meeting was adjourned at 12:02 p.m.
