COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY 3:30 P.M. NOVEMBER 12, 2020
Board members present via Webex: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-
Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others via Webex: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; Greg
Zempel, Prosecutor; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; and Mike Flory,
Planning Official. SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 3:35 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting and
announced the Board would not be recessing into Executive Session as
advertised to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency
matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with
legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential
litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member
acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party,
when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result
in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency.
Dan Carlson, CDS Director updated the Board on the potential for
plans being added to the master plan for affordable housing units.
There was discussion on if the BOCC was interested in pursuing this.
Mike Flory, Building Official was able to answer questions of the
Board. The Board directed Mr. Flory and Commissioner Osiadacz to
continue working on this, and to bring it back to the Board at a
later date.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:59 p.m.
