COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 2:30 P.M. NOVEMBER 2, 2020
Board members present via WebEx: Chairman, Brett Wachsmith;
Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz & Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others via WebEx: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I;
Elisha Harvill, Chief Administrator; and Greg Zempel,
Prosecutor. SPECIAL MEETING PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE COMMISSIONERS
At 2:30 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting to
discuss with the Prosecutor’s Office about staffing.
There was discussion about the request brought forward to the
BOCC in August regarding bringing someone on in the Prosecutor’s
Office. They worked with HR, posted the job, have applicants but
have not moved forward in the hiring process. The funding for
the position is trending upwards, but they did not want to move
forward without the BOCC’s approval.
The Board requested that the Prosecutor’s Office bring this item
back for consideration with the position costs and budget
information.
The discussion on caseload/staffing levels was not discussed.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:42 p.m.
