Petition summary and WHEREAS,the myriad of measures imposed by government that criminalize lawful gun ownership do,in their substance
background and effect,infringe upon and impair the constitutionally-guaranteed right to keep and bear arms as exercised by law-abiding
citizens, inhibit lawful self-defense,do nothing to increase security in our schools and homes, nor address gang violence;
Action petitioned for We The People for Kittitas County call upon the county commissioners to declare their respective jurisdictions to be 2nd
Amendment sanctuaries in the protection of Law-abiding citizens exercising of their constitutionally guaranteed right to keep
and bear arms,AND FURTHER to direct that no Sheriff,Prosecutor,agent,employee,or official of their respective
jurisdictions provide material support to or participate in any way in the enforcement of any act,order,rule,law,or
regulation repugnant to the constitutionally-guaranteed right to keep and bear arms exercised by Law-abiding citizens of
I Kittitas County.
