FOR THE DESIGN AND <br />ENVIORNMENTAL PERMITTING F'OR THE PAVEMENT AND GUARDRAIL <br />REPLACEMENT ON VANTAGE HIGFIWAY Mp 21.25 - Mp 27.51, CRp 298-19 <br />WHEREAS: Public Works recently solicited for qualified design and engineering firms <br />pursuant to state and federal procurement regulations for the design and <br />environmental permitting for Vantage Highway improvements CRP 298-19; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: Four (4) qualified engineering firms responded to the request for <br />qualifications with the process closing on August 13,2020; and <br />WHEREAS: A review committee of Public Works staff evaluated responses, and reviewers <br />selected KPGP.S. as the prefered firm to provide said services; and <br />WHEREAS: A scope of work and fee has been negotiated and accepted by said Consultant <br />and Public Works; and <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby approve the award to KPGP.S. of a <br />local agency agreement for the design and environmental permitting for the <br />pavement and guardrail replacement on Vantage Highway \/P 2L25 - MP <br />27.5t, CRP 298-19. <br />DATED on this 3rd day of November 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COLTNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COLINTY, <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Vice-Chairman <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />w <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner
