ACTION REQUESTED:
Request Board's approval for Chairs signature on the Amendment with CH2M Hill Engineering (Jacobs).
BACKGROUND:
Kittitas County Solid Waste has been working with Jacobs on the siting of the new Ellensburg Transfer
Station. At this time the County Solid Waste Department has submitted a pre application for a 10 million
dollar FEMA Bric grant and has been approved to go to the next stage of the grant application process. This
phase of the application require a very specific training to complete the process and in a very short time
frame. We have asked Jacobs to assist with the grant application so that the County will have a complete
and completive application.
INTERACTION:
Solid Waste, Jacobs and Prosecutors Office.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend Board's approval for Chair to sign the Amendment with CH2M Hill Engineering (Jacobs)
HANDLING:
Return to Solid Waste
