AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: October 20, 2020
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for November 3, 2020 at
2:00 pm to consider a Utility Area Franchise with
Snoqualmie Pass Public Utility District
BACKGROUND: Recently, Public Works determined that the Pass Public
Utility District (SPUD) does not have a valid franchise
agreement for water and sewer utility services lines located
within County right of way. Staff has prepared a franchise
agreement that the Prosecuting Attorney's Office has
reviewed and commented upon. All PA's Office comments
are incorporated into staff's franchise agreement. The
agreement is now ready to go to public hearing.
INTERACTION: Public Works.
RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for November 3, 2020 at 2:00 pm to
consider a Utility Area Franchise with Snoqualmie Pass
Public Utility District.
HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works.
