KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: October 6th, 2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to approve the Resolution allocating $216,918.00 for the Small-Scale Municipality-Owned Capital Projects as listed <br />below and approve Board signature on the corresponding Agreements. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) met on July 16, 2020 and August 20, 2020 in an open public meeting to discuss and review grant applications for Small-Scale Municipality-Owned <br />Capital Projects and Operations. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The LTAC voted unanimously to recommend to the BOCC funding for the projects listed under recommendation below in the amount of $216,918.00 <br /> <br />$50,000.00 to KVEC for Announcer Stand Renovations <br />$19,300.00 to Cle Elum for Trail Counters/Park Upgrades <br />$50,000.00 to Cle Elum for WSHP <br />$47,618.00 to Yakima River Access Plan for Directory/Wayfinding <br />$50,000.00 to Ellensburg for Downtown Parks <br />$216,918.00 <br /> <br />Contracts and Resolution have been reviewed through PA Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC to approve the Resolution to allocate $216,918 from the Hotel/Motel funding for Small-Scale Municipality-Owned Capital Projects for contracts LT-SS-2020-001-005 <br />and approve Board signature on the corresponding Agreements. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy – LTAC <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Scoring sheets from the LTAC <br /> Agreements LT-SS-2020-001-005 <br /> Resolution <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Taylor Crouch, LTAC Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
