ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a Public Hearing for October 20, 2020
at 2:00 pm to consider a Speed Reduction on Lyons
Road and Amend Kittitas County Code Section
10.08.020 Speed Limits
BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Department of Public Works
received a neighborhood petition to conduct a
speed study and consider a reduction of speed on
Lyons Road between Wilson Creek Road and
Naneum Road (50 MPH to 35 MPH). The speed
study was conducted, and Public Works is now
requesting to set a Public Hearing to receive public
testimony and discuss the results of said study.
INTERACTION: Public Works
RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for October 20, 2020 at 2:00 pm
to consider a Speed Reduction on Lyons Road and
Amend Kittitas County Code Section 10.08.020
Speed Limits.
HANDLING: Return one Notice of Public Hearing to Public
Works

205 West 5th Avenue, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse, Ellensburg, WA to consider a Speed Reduction on Lyons
Road and Amend Kittitas County Code Section 10.08.020 Speed Limits.
