AGENDA DATE: April 21, 2020
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Revised Professional Services
Agreement between Accurate Electric Unlimited and the Kittitas County Jail to replace
the existing CCTV recording system and application server.
BACKGROUND: The current CCTV camera system at the jail is reaching the end of its
operational life. Viconnet Version 8 will no longer be supported by the end of 2020.
Upgrades to the CCTV system began in February 2019 with the replacement of the
control stations and software so they have the capability of being upgraded to Windows
10. AEU now proposes to replace the existing CCTV recording system with anew
application server and recording server which will be integrated into our current LAN
system, such that management and viewing of video can be accomplished at a County
provided workstation.
**The agreement signed April 21, 2020 did not provide for the cost of any applicable
permits, fees, and sales tax in the final project total. This revised version corrects the
omission of that language. **
INTERACTION: This Proposal was reviewed and approved by the Kittitas County
Prosecutor's Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve the Revised Professional Services
Agreement between Accurate Electric Unlimited and the Kittitas County Jail to replace
the existing CCTV recording system and application server.
