Kittitas County <br />Prosecutor <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />9/15/2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Approve ordinance creating Ch. 3.07 KCC. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The BoCC passed Ord. 2020-004 which was related to a tax credit associated with SHB 1406. The <br />Auditor's Office expressed the desire to have the provisions of this ordinance reside in a new Chapter of the <br />County Code-3.07. The Prosecutor's Office drafted the associated ordinance creating the code section. No <br />special hearing or meeting should be required because that was already done as part of the tax-related <br />measure embodied and implemented by Ord. 2020-004. This ordinance merely memorializes in code that <br />which has already been adopted. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />The Prosecutor's Office worked with Zane Kinney in IT and consulted with Judy Pless from the Auditor's <br />Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve ordinance creating Ch. 3.07 KCC. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />None <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Neil Caulkins <br />
