AUGUST 31, 2020 <br /> <br />Board members present: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Cory Wright, <br />Commissioner, (via WebEx); Chairman Brett Wachsmith-Excused. <br /> <br />Others Via WebEx: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy <br />Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk <br />of the Board I; Lisa Young, HR Director; Patti Johnson, Solid Waste <br />Director/Interim Maintenance Director/Project Manager; Pat Gigstead, <br />Chief Probation Officer; Kady Porterfield, KVEC Director and one <br />member of the public. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:04 a.m. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendars. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved the County Vouchers and <br />PAF’s. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Correspondence Log for the week ending August 28, 2020 was <br />presented. <br /> <br />REQUEST REMODEL BASEMENT MORRIS SORENSON MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Pat Gigstead, Chief Probation Officer stated that the spacing in <br />their waiting room with current regulations make it so they can’t <br />allow more than one person at a time in their waiting area and with <br />winter upon us he would like to get something in place so people are <br />not standing out in the cold. <br /> <br />The Board directed Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Interim <br />Maintenance Director/Project Manager to follow up with Judy Pless on <br />the CARES Funds available after getting an estimate on the project <br />cost. The Board discussed options for the space with COVID-19 is no <br />longer what the space is for. There was discussion that it could be <br />a small meeting room.
