RESOLUTION NO. 2020.
TO AWARD THE CONTRACT FOR THE BULLFROG ROAD PAVEMENT
RESTORATION PROJECT CRP #3OO-20 AND AUTHORIZETETE PUBLIC WORKS
DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE THE SAME
WHEREAS: The call for sealed bids supporting the Bullfrog Road Pavement Restoration
Project was authorizedby the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners on July
21,2020; and,
WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works solicited bids in accordance with RCW
36.77 020 Contract Procedures; and
WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on August 12,2020 at 9:00am at the Kiuitas County
Permit Center, Department of Public Works, 411 N. Ruby Street, Suite l,
Ellensburg, WA; and
WHEREAS: Four (4) bids were received for the prescribed work. The Director of Public
Works recommends the lowest responsive bid from American Rock Products be
accepted; and
NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners finds it in
the best interest ofthe County to award the Bullfrog Road Pavement Restoration
Project to American Rock Products in the amount of $367,763.00.
BE IT FURTI{ER RESOLVED thatthe Director forthe Department of Public Works is
authorized to sign contract documents for said project.
