ACTION REQUESTED:
Request the Board of County Commissioners to sign the Professional Services Agreement
between Kittitas County and B&F Services for the Horticultural Pest and Disease Board.
BACKGROUND:
The agreement is for the control and eradication of the apple maggot within Kittitas County. This
agreement will fund necessary services for the prevention/control of the apple maggot. This
agreement coincides with the federal grant funds we receive from the Washington State
Department of Agriculture.
We solicitated bids from three vendors using the Municipal Research Services Center. Two bids
were none responsive and B&F services bid $96.00 per site. This is the amount we paid in 2019.
INTERACTION:
Urban Eberhart, Chair Horticultural Pest & Disease Board
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend the Board approve and sign the agreement.
