KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 18th, 2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to approve agreement HH-AH-2020-004-HopeSource-Paulann <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Homeless and Affordable Housing Committee (HAHC) received a request from HopeSource for funding for a project during the July HAHC meeting. The project is to purchase <br />a building in Ellensburg with 20 units to be converted into homeless and low-income housing. This contributes to the 5-year plan and puts the Committee 2 years ahead of plan. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: During the regularly scheduled meeting of the HAHC on 7-31-20, the committee reviewed the application submitted by HopeSource. The committee voted unanimously to approve <br />and recommend the application to the BOCC with the stipulation that $200,000 come from Homelessness funds and $100,000 come from Affordable Housing.
