AUGUST 3, 2020 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz, Cory Wright, Commissioner, (via WebEx). <br /> <br />Others Via WebEx: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy <br />Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Judy Pless, Budget & Finance <br />Director; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Steve Panattoni, Jail <br />Superintendent; Lisa Young, HR Director. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendars. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved the County Vouchers and <br />PAF’s. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Correspondence Log for the week ending July 31, 2020 was <br />presented. <br /> <br />REQUEST CORRECTIONS - SERGEANT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Lisa Young, HR Director stated that this is a formality to the <br />conversations the Board previously had with the Sheriff. She stated <br />there is a form for the Board to sign, noting that there will be no <br />backfill of a Corrections Officer, but rather moving a Corporal to <br />Sergeant. Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve the request as <br />presented. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION LETTER OF SUPPORT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Dan Carlson, CDS Director stated that Forterra is asking if the <br />County will provide a letter of support for the Conservation <br />Easement for the Naneum Creek Farm. He stated that the Letter of <br />Support does not obligate the County to anything. He stated that he <br />previously brought this up during a CDS Study Session in June.
