KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM May 11, 2020 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, and Laura Osiadacz <br />Others: Lindsey Ozbolt (CDS)and Mike Flory (CDS) <br />Meeting was called to order at 1:30 pm <br />Update on CDS Staff <br />Lindsey Ozbolt, Planning Official and Mike Flory, Building <br />Official filled in for Director Carlson while he was out of the <br />office. Ms. Ozbolt stated that Community Development Services <br />has stayed busy throughout the mandatory shut down. Processing <br />applications that were taken in prior to the shut -down and then <br />accepting new applications (building, fire, or planning related) <br />through the drop box located outside of the office. Ms. Ozbolt <br />reported that planning has stayed consistent and is currently <br />receiving 2-5 permit applications per week which is standard for <br />this time of year. The Fire Marshals office has started fire <br />sprinkler inspections again and did 15 fire sprinkler <br />inspections just last week. Now that the Fire Marshals office is <br />all caught up now and will resume conducting these types of <br />inspections. Building Official, Mike Flory briefed the Board of <br />County Commissioners with the status of the building <br />inspections. During the mandatory shut -down, March 23 through <br />April 27, only twelve emergency repairs, essential and <br />agricultural inspections were conducted.
