COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY 1:00 P.M. JUNE 23, 2020
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith;(Via WebEx): Vice-
Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright.

SPECIAL MEETING PLANNING UPDATE/COVID-19 COMMISSIONERS
At 10:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting to
discuss Planning Updates/COVID-19.
Commissioner Osiadacz said several members of the Management Team
have asked for direction on how to prepare for reopening the
County buildings since we are now in Phase. There was discussion
from Elected Officials and Department Heads on on reopening their
offices to serve the public in person. Lisa Young, Human
Recourse Director, offered to create a spreadsheet for
Departments to input their information on how they are preparing
to handle reopening to ensure the information is located in one
place. Steve Panattoni, Jail Superintendent, said there were
protocols in place for the Courthouse Security personnel,
including how to field questions from the public. He suggested
maybe revisiting signage for any possible changes. The Courthouse
will be opening the doors to the public on Monday June 29, 2020.

UPDATE PROHIBITION OF IN-PERSON MEETINGS PROSECUTOR
Stephanie Hartung, Deputy Prosecutor said there had been some
confusion on Governor Inslee’s Order restricting from having in
person meeting until 11:59 p.m. July 1, 2020, unless it is
extended again.
Meeting adjourned at 11:50 a.m.
