BOARD OF' COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF'KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASTIINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO: 2a20- 1?0 <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE TIIE 2O2O DISTRESSED COtINTY SALES AND USE TAX <br />INF'RASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT PROGR,AM AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF' <br />ELLENSBURG <br />WHEREAS: The 1999 Legislature did pass RCW 82.14.370 Sales and Use Tax for public <br />Facilities in rural counties; and <br />WHEIIEAS: These funds may only be used to finance public facilities serving economic <br />development purposes in rural counties and finance personnel in economic <br />development offices in the State of Washington; and <br />WHEREAS: The 2020 Distressed County Sales and Use Tax Infrastructure Improvement program <br />Agreement with the City of Ellensburg has been executed by said entity with funding <br />available January l, 2020: and <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE lT RESOLVED: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />hereby approves the attached 2020 Distressed County Sales and Use Tax Infrastructure Improvement <br />Program Agreement with the City of Ellensburg. <br />ADOPTED this 7th day of July 2020. <br />BOARD OF COLINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />.)Vice-Chairman///tl1il\l\ <br />tr Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />l"_ <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner
