<br /> KITTITAS COUNTY <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO._2020-_____ <br /> <br /> <br />A Resolution Authorizing a Transfer of funds from the 001-General Fund to 127- <br />Misdemeanant Probation <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS; the Budget & Finance Manager has informed the Board of County <br />Commissioners previously that Fund 127-Misdemenant Probation is experiencing some financial <br />difficulties, with the expenses exceeding the revenues; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS; COVID-19 has caused a reduction in collection revenues; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS; in January 2020, the Board of County Commissioners implemented a wage <br />survey for all County employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS; 127-Misdemeanant Probation funds an employee in Lower District Court and <br />one in Upper District Court, which has affected the expenses; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS; During the 2021 budget process, the District Court Judges and the Budget & <br />Finance Manager recommend the fund 127-Misdemeanant Probation be moved into the General <br />Fund. <br /> <br />WHEREAS; a study session is recommended with all parties during the 2021 preliminary <br />budget process. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED; that the Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration, does hereby authorize up to $75,000, be transferred (Operating Transfer) into fund <br />127-Misdemeanant Probation, effective the signing date of this Resolution. <br /> <br />APPROVED the 7th day of July 2020. <br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br />Chairman <br /> <br />____________________________ <br />Vice Chairman <br />ATTEST <br />____________________________ <br />Commissioner <br />____________________ <br />Clerk of the Board
