Administrator update
Tristen Lamb stepped to the microphone and updated the board members on the following:
•Public Health Legislative Day in Olympia
•Vaccine clinic at Valley View Elementary School on 2/18/2020,38 vaccines administered to 28
children
o Next clinic scheduled for March 30 at EIIensburg High School
•Zach Vavricka is resigning,his last day will be February 28;His position is currently posted.
•Currently still monitoring travelers from China

Ms.Lamb went over some key points of Kittitas County Public Health's 2019 Annual Newsletter,
including the following:
•Vaccination Activity
•Frequent Food Violations
•KERNAL
•2019 Financial Breakdown
KCPHD Response to Emerging Health issues
Ms.Lamb reviewed the after-action report regarding testing the CWU student for COVID-19.There were
questions from the board regarding the differences in response for a CWU student versus a non-student
community member.
Other
The board wanted to thank KCPHD for their letter of education regarding the mental health tax
proposal,and to continue the work of education regarding these topics.
