WHEREAS On May II- 2020,the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners approved
a Notice of Call for sealed bids for the Fairview Road Widening and Coleman
Creek Structures Replacement Project: and
WIIBREAS:The Department of Public Works solicited bids forthe Fairvieu,Road Widening
and Coleman Creck Structures Replacement Project in accordance with RCW
36.77 .A20 Contract Procedures: and
WHEREAS: Sealed bids u,ere opened on .Iune I,2A20 at the Kittitas County Permit Cerrter,
Departmcnt of Public Works, 4l I N. Ruby Street, Suite I" Ellensburg, WA; and
WIIEREAS:Four (4) bids s,ere received for the prescribed work rvith the Engineer's estimate
being $961.065.00. The Director of Public Works recommends the lorvest
responsive bid from Advantage Dirt Contractors Inc. for $819.864.10 following
receipt ofexecuted right ofrvay documents be accepted;
NOW, THEREITORB IIE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Couni* Commissioners does
award the construction contract for Fairvielv Road Widening and Coleman Creek
Structures Replacement Project to Vantage Dirt for the sum of $819.864.10
following receipt of execuled right of way documents and further authorizes the
Director of Public Works to sign the contract documents for said project.
