Prior to the online platform, the Prosecutor's Office <br />supplied hard copy legal materials to the jail for the inmate's use. The Prosecutor's Office paid for the <br />Lexis Nexis subscription when the online platform became available. As the Prosecutor's Office is no <br />longer providing the jail with hard copies, nor are they an administrator for the jail's terminal, the jail is <br />going to assume the Lexis Nexis contract from them. For the current contract, funds will be moved from <br />the PAO budget to the Sheriff's budget.
