A Resolution Establishing Fund 102 - Elections Security Grant
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners on June 2, 2020 approved the
agreement from the U.S. Elections Assistance Commission through the Washington State
Secretary State which awarded Kittitas County $154,405.29 for Election Security, and
WHEREAS, the contract has specific requirements, it is recommended by the County
Auditor to create a new fund to manage the expenditures and investment requirements, and
WHEREAS, the budget will be created in the amount of $154,405.29.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Kittitas County Board of County
Commissioners hereby establishes fund 102 - Elections Security Grant.
AND, NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the funds will be invested by
the County Treasurer for the maximum return and the interest will be credited to this fund.
