BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RES.LUT.N No. zo2o- /o rl <br />A Resolution Authorizing Amendment of 2019-2020 Professional Services Agreement by <br />and between Kittitas County Superior Court, Juvenile Court Services and Kristi Hunziker for <br />Special Sex Offender Disposition Alternative (SSODA) services. <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County Juvenile Court Services contracts with Kristi Hunziker for <br />SSODA treatment services; and <br />WHEREAS, A Professional Services Agreement has been established by and between <br />the parties; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Hunziker has requested an amendment of the contract to address the <br />changed circumstances created by the current COVID-19 health crisis; and <br />WHEREAS, an amendment of services is necessary during the COVID-19 health crisis <br />to reduce the risk to both Ms. Hunziker and the juveniles to whom she is <br />providing treatment; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Hunziker had been willing to adjust the rate charged to reflect the less <br />direct contact with the youth; and <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners signed Resolution No. 2020- <br />O7O on April 7, 2A2A authorizing amendment of 2019-2020 Professional <br />Services Agreement by and between Kittitas County Superior Court, <br />Juvenile Court Services and Kristi Hunziker for SSODA services; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Hunziker has requested that the previous adjustment to her rate for <br />services for provision of counseling services by use of remote means be <br />reversed based upon having learned additional information that shows that <br />the reduction was neither prudent nor necessary; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED AND lT lS HEREBY ORDERED, that the <br />attached amendment of the Professional Services Agreement between Kittitas County and <br />Kristi Hunziker be executed for SSODA treatment services. <br />ADOPTED this tqh day of 2020 <br />RESOLUTION
