ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a Public Hearing for June 2, 2020 at
2:00 pm to consider a Speed Reduction on Cove
Road and Amend Kittitas County Code Section
10.08.020 Speed Limits.
BACKGROUND: Responding to a speed study request from citizens
on Cove Road following a road fatality in February
2020, Kittitas County Department of Public Works
conducted a speed study and is now requesting to
set a Public Hearing to receive public testimony
and discuss the results of the requested speed
study.
INTERACTION:
Public Works and the Sheriffs Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for June 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm to
consider reducing the speed along Cove Road and
amending Kittitas County Code Section 10.08.020
Speed Limits.
HANDLING: Return one Notice of Public Hearing to Public
Works.

West 5th Avenue, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse, Ellensburg, WA to consider a speed reduction on Cove Road and
amend Kittitas County Code Section 10.08.020 Speed Limits.
